Tom Jager
Thomas ("Tom") Michael Jager (born October 6, 1964 in Collinsville ) is a former American swimmer .
successes
At the Olympic Games he was able to win a total of four gold medals, all in relay missions. In the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and 1988 in Seoul , he was at the victories of the 4 x 100 m Location squadrons used the Americans only in the heats. At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1988 and 1992 he was also able to swim in the finals of the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay and thus become Olympic champion . In the individual he won in 1988 over 50 meters freestyle silver medal and the bronze medal in 1992. At World Championships , however, he won the 50 m freestyle in 1986 in Madrid and 1991 in Perth .
In 2001 he was inducted into the international swimming pool 's hall of fame .
