Tom Prodi (born September 19, 1993 in Overijse ) is a Belgian ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with the Bulldogs de Liège since 2013 and has played in the Belgian-Dutch BeNe League since 2015 .

Career

Clubs

Tom Prodi began his career at IHC Leuven , for whose reserve team he played in the Belgian second division. At the age of 19 he moved to North America, where he guarded the gate for Lake George Fighting Spirit in the NSHL. He returned to Belgium in 2013 and has played for the Bulldogs de Liège ever since . While he was initially active with the team in the honor division , he has been playing in the newly founded Belgian-Dutch BeNe League since 2015 . In 2014 he was able to win the Belgian championship title with the Bulldogs and also win the cup competition. In 2018 he won the cup again with the club.

International

Prodi was part of the Belgian national ice hockey team for the first time at the 2016 World Cup in Division II and achieved the third-best catch quota of the tournament behind the Dutchman Sjoerd Idzenga and the Spaniard Ander Alcaine .
