Tomasz Kiesewetter (born September 8, 1911 in Sosnowiec , † November 29, 1992 in Łódź ) was a Polish composer, conductor and music teacher.

Kiesewetter studied composition with Piotr Rytel , piano with Walerian Bierdiajew and conducting with Margerita Trombini-Kazuro at the Warsaw Conservatory until 1936 . Then he was Bierdiajew's assistant until 1938. In 1938 he completed a conducting course at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. 1938-39 he was director of the Stanisław Moniuszko Choir. He has performed as a conductor of symphonic concerts in Warsaw, Krakow, Vilnius, Berlin and Stockholm.

During the time of the German occupation, Kiesewetter was involved in the Polish resistance movement. After the war he taught at the State Conservatory of Music in Łódź and from 1959 taught composition, conducting, orchestration and reading scores there as a professor. In addition, from 1945 to 1970 he conducted the Łódź Symphony and Radio Orchestra and the Conservatory's student orchestra and was chairman of the Łódź branch of the Polish Composers' Association.

With his compositions, Kiesewetter has won several music festivals. In 1954 he received the Golden Cross of Merit of the Republic of Poland , in 1964 the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta and in 1985 the Banner of First Class Labor .
