Thomas "Tommy" Casey (born March 11, 1930 in Comber , † January 13, 2009 in Somerset ) was a Northern Irish football player. After starting his career at the Northern Irish club Bangor FC , he played in English league football for Leeds United , AFC Bournemouth , Newcastle United , Portsmouth FC and Bristol City from 1949 . In 1955 he won the FA Cup with Newcastle . In the same year he made his debut for the Northern Irish national team . With this he took part in the 1958 World Cup. After his career ended in the mid-1960s, he worked as a trainer, including in Iceland and Norway.

His grandson Connor Pain ran for the Australian national team .
