Tomomi Tanaka (athlete)

Tomomi Tanaka ( Japanese 田中 智 美 , Tanaka Tomomi ; born January 25, 1988 in Narita ) is a Japanese long-distance runner .

On October 6, 2012, she finished 8th at the World Half Marathon Championships in Kavarna after 1:11:09 h.

In 2014 she won the Yokohama Marathon in her second marathon in 2:26:57 h.

Tanaka studied at Tamagawa University and is a member of the women's athletics team of the insurer Dai-ichi Seimei Hoken .
