Fukagawa ( Japanese 深 川 市 , - shi ) is a city in the Sorachi sub-prefecture on the island of Hokkaidō ( Japan ).

Fukagawa is west of Asahikawa and northeast of Sapporo .
history
The city has existed since May 1, 1963.
traffic
The Fukagawa Station is located on the Hakodate Main Line between Sapporo and Asahikawa , the main railway line on the island. Here the Rumoi main line branches off to Rumoi and Mashike .
Fukagawa is located on National Road 12 and on National Roads 233 and 275.
