Toni Gänge (born January 27, 1988 in Kyritz , GDR ) is a German former football player . The defender was most recently under contract with 1. FC Kaan-Marienborn .

career

In his youth he played courses for SV Schwarz-Rot Neustadt (Dosse) before moving to Energie Cottbus in 2004 . Here he was used in the U-19 Bundesliga , but joined Werder Bremen's second team when he entered the senior division in 2007 . With this team he managed to qualify for the 3rd league , in whose premier season he made his professional debut on matchday 1, in the 3-0 away defeat at SpVgg Unterhaching , and played through. Overall, however, he was only used twice during the season. He then moved to Hertha BSC's reserve in summer 2009 . With the Berliners he immediately established himself as a regular player in the Regionalliga Nord , but left the club after a year and moved within the league to SV Wilhelmshaven .

At the beginning of 2012, gears changed again, this time to 1. FC Kaan-Marienborn from North Rhine-Westphalia in the Westphalia League . With this he won the district cup in 2013 and 2014. He became team captain and was promoted to the Oberliga Westfalen with the club in 2016 . In 2018 they were promoted to the Regionalliga West , from which they were relegated again in 2018/19 . After a prolonged knee injury, the central defender had to end his career in summer 2020.
