Toni Kiem

Anton "Toni" Kiem (born November 1, 1930 in Merano ; † May 18, 2014 ) was an Italian farmer and politician from South Tyrol .

Live and act

Kiem, who lives in Gratsch , was involved for many years as chairman of the South Tyrolean advisory ring for fruit and wine growing , in the working group for integrated fruit growing in South Tyrol (AGRIOS) and on the supervisory board of the Raiffeisen Association South Tyrol . Politically, he was active in various positions in the ranks of the South Tyrolean People's Party (SVP). He was local chairman of Gratsch for 30 years, from 1968 to 1983 SVP district chairman of the burgrave office . The loyal supporter of politics, Silvius Magnagos, was twice a member of the South Tyrolean state parliament and thus also in the regional council of Trentino-South Tyrol : the first time he held a mandate from 1973 to 1978, the second time he moved up for a few months until the end of the legislative period of the year 1988 for the late Waltraud Gebert-Deeg .
