Toninho Ferragutti (* in Socorro , São Paulo ) is a Brazilian accordionist, composer and arranger.

Ferragutti had his first music lessons from his father, the saxophonist Pedro Ferragutti . He then studied harmony at the Conservatório Gomes Cardim in Campinas with Cláudio Leal Ferrerira and the accordion with Dante D'Alonzo . Since 1983 he has been working as a professional musician.

He worked u. a. with Gilberto Gil , Edu Lobo , Antonio Nóbrega , Elba Ramalho , Mônica Salmaso , Geraldo Azevedo , Zé Ramalho , Chico Cezar , Oswaldinho do Acordeon , Lenine , Paulo Moura , Marisa Monte , Elza Soares , Dory Caymi , Nelson Ayres , Nico Assunção and Hermeto Assunção Pascoal , Doug Kershaw , Maria João and Mario Lajinha , Omara Portuondo , Denise Kalafi , Antonio Placer and Geoffrey Oryema and performed as a soloist with the Orquestra Jazz Sinfônica and the Orquestra da Petrobrás per Música under the direction of Wagner Tiso , Nelson Ayres and Cyro Pereira on.

In 1996 he recorded the album Oferenda with saxophonist Roberto Sion . His first solo album, Sanfonamos , was nominated for a Grammy Latino in 2000. In 2006 his second album Nem Sol, Nem Lua with his own compositions was released. His discography as a sideman includes more than fifty albums.
