Torhamn is a place ( Tatort ) in the municipality of Karlskrona in the Swedish province of Blekinge on the Baltic Sea coast . The streets Länsväg K 748 and K 751 run through the village . It is about twelve kilometers to the next larger city after Jämjö , and over thirty by land to Karlskrona .
In Torhamn there is a grocery store and a guest harbor , from which archipelago boats go to the offshore islands and to Karlskrona.
Attractions
Torhamns Vogelwarte is located on a headland (Torhamns udde) south of the village. Many migratory birds fly past the ornithological station on their way north through Kalmarsund or south over the Baltic Sea .
Torhamns udde is part of a nature reserve.
North of Torhamn is the Horsahallen rock carving , Blekinge's largest rock carving . It comes from the Bronze Age .
