Torneo de la Comunidad de Madrid
The Torneo de la Comunidad de Madrid de Baloncesto ACB is a basketball tournament organized by the regional association of the Community of Madrid , the Federación de Baloncesto de Madrid . The competition has been held before the start of the Spanish championship since 1984 . Eligible are those clubs from the Autonomous Community of Madrid that are represented in the top Spanish basketball league. Record champions are Real Madrid with 20 titles, CB Estudiantes won the tournament nine times, Baloncesto Fuenlabrada holds one victory.
mode
The mode of the competition depends on the number of participating teams. If only two clubs are represented in the ACB league, the champions are usually determined in one game, in 1992 and 1994 in two-legged matches. Otherwise a tournament (everyone against everyone) will be held at a predetermined location.
