Torske ( Ukrainian Торське ; Russian Торское Torskoje , Polish Torskie ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Ternopil Oblast with about 800 inhabitants (2001).

The village, first mentioned in writing in 1440, is the administrative center of the 30.25 km² district council in Salishchyky Rajon , which also includes the villages of Hluschka ( Глушка , ) with around 160 inhabitants and Jakubiwka ( Якубівка , ) with around 170 inhabitants .

In Torske there is the Annunciation Church from 1842 and a monument to Taras Shevchenko erected in 1961 . The village is located on the bank of the Lutscha ( Луча ), a 17 km long left tributary of the Dniester , 15 km north of the Salishchyky district center and 115 km south of the Ternopil oblast center . The M 19 / E 85 trunk road runs to the east of the village .
