Torul is a Slovenian electro-pop band.
history
The founder and namesake Torul Torulsson has been musically active since the 1990s. As Torul W he held several Club publications under the label of Low Spirit , z. B. Waterproof Theme .
In 2010 Torul made their album debut with Dark Matters . With the successor In Whole (2011) they switched to the soul food label Infacted Recordings. In 2012 they performed at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig. In 2013 the album Tonight We Dream Fiercely was released . This was followed by a European tour as a backing band for the synth pop group Mesh . In 2014 they also had an appearance at the Amphi Festival . In spring 2016 Jan Jenko left the band and was replaced by Maj Valerij.
style
Torul reinterpreted songs from The Cure ( Disintegration ) and Tears for Fears ( Mad World ).
Her style has influences from indie pop , electro pop , dark wave , IDM and electro .
