TOS was a band from Ravensburg , Germany, founded in 2005 . Her musical style was shaped by influences from the areas of beat music , dance and rock 'n' roll . The band name goes back to the fictional American action artist John Peter Tos .
They played over 200 concerts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. With bands like Queens of the Stone Age , Pearl Jam , Placebo , Daniel Wirtz , Silbermond , Razorlight and Emil Bulls, among others . On the Day of German Unity at the Brandenburg Gate in 2009, they played in front of around 1.5 million people as part of the final of the Coca-Cola Soundwave Discovery Tour. They also played at the following festivals:

In 2008 they played in the opening act for The Dome 45. They have already had various radio and television appearances, for example on MTV “Rockzone”. From 2006 to 2008 TOS participated in 13 band competitions. They won ten times and came second three times.
In June 2015, the band announced their breakup on their Facebook page.
