Toshiya "Toshi" Tōjō ( Japanese 東城 利 哉 , Tōjō Toshiya ; born October 13, 1992 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player . The right foot is used as a midfielder .
Career
Toshi received his football training from Kawasaki Frontale . After graduating from high school, however, he did not seek a professional career at Frontale, but instead moved to Brazil for Paulinia FC, a club from the state of São Paulo . In 2012 he was signed by the Série D Club Friburguense AC . He played his first professional game for the club in 2012 in the Rio de Janeiro State Cup . In total, he made five appearances in the season as well as two more in the Série D. In the following years he came to another three appearances in the State Cup and 10 in the State Championship of Rio de Janeiro .
For the 2015 season Toshi achieved a personal promotion by moving to Avaí FC . He had the chance to play in Series B in the future . However, he only found himself on the bench in the 2015 season. Since 2016 he has been playing more often, but not yet regularly. The 2018 season began for Toshi with a loan to EC Internacional (SC) in Lages . With the club in the State Championship of Santa Catarina and the Série D on. After the competition was over, Toshi was awarded again. He came back to Friburguense to play in the State Cup of Rio de Janeiro (6 games, 0 goals). For the 2019 season, Toshi moved to Associação Portuguesa de Desportos . The contract had a term until the end of the year.

His brother Shōya Tōjō is under contract with Marítimo Funchal in Portugal (as of January 18, 2018).
