Tour de Timor 2010

The Tour de Timor 2010 was the second edition of the annual mountain bike race in East Timor . It took place from September 13th to 17th.

340 drivers from 16 countries started the race. The route led from Dili along the coast west to Balibo (124 km). On the second day we continued via Maliana to Suai , near the south coast (95 km). The third stage led through the east of Cova Lima into the mountains to Ainaro (67 km). On the fourth day the route led via Maubisse to Aileu (68 km), with a peak at 1900  m , before returning 56 km to Dili on the last day. The entire route was 410 km.

The winner and winner of the US $ 15,000 prize money was Australian Adrian Jackson with just 29 seconds ahead in 14:35:22. His compatriot Steele von Hoff came in second, and Malaysian Shahrin Amir came third . The best East Timorese was Jacinto da Costa in 13th place, 1:57:07 after the winner. The best woman was Australian Rowena Fry in 15th place. Jackson was also ahead of von Hoff in the mountain classification, who had to share second place with Dan McConnell .
