The Tréboul is a river in France that runs in the Aude department in the Occitania region . It rises near the hamlet of Montalivet in the municipality of Mas-Saintes-Puelles , generally drains towards east-southeast and after around 23 kilometers flows into the Fresquel as a right tributary in the municipality of Villepinte .

Already in the upper reaches, near Mas-Saintes-Puelles , the Tréboul crosses under the A61 motorway and initially runs largely between the motorway and the Canal du Midi . The Bordeaux – Sète railway line, which also runs here, is crossed three times by the river. At Tréboulet , it finally crosses under the Canal du Midi and follows it on the opposite side to Villepinte , where it finally flows out.
