Trajče Nedev ( Macedonian Трајче Недев, at the World Chess Federation FIDE Trajko Nedev , formerly Trajce Nedev ; born February 27, 1973 ) is a North Macedonian chess player . In 1995 he became International Master ; since November 2000 he has held the title of chess grandmaster .

Life

With the Macedonian national team, he has participated in all ten Chess Olympiads since 1996 with an overall result of 57.5 points from 104 games (+35 = 45 −24; 55.3 percent). When he first participated in Yerevan in 1996 , he received an individual bronze medal for his result of 8 points from 11 games on the first reserve board. He also took part for Macedonia in the 2001 World Team Championships in Yerevan and in all eight European Team Championships from 1997 to 2011 , where he won an individual silver medal in Plovdiv in 2003 for his result of 5.5 out of 7 on the fourth board. In June 2004 he won a grandmaster tournament in Mulhouse , in July 2004 he finished second behind Namiq Quliyev with equal points in Illkirch .

In Macedonia he plays for the club SK Alkaloid Skopje , with which he took part in all 15 European Club Cups from 1995 to 2009 , in the Kosovar team championship 2008 for Theranda after independence .

In May 2020 he was in fourth place in the North Macedonian Elo ranking.
