Transportes Sul do Tejo, SA (TST) is a Portuguese bus company based in Laranjeiro , which primarily operates regular services in the Margem Sul do Tejo in the Almada , Seixal and Setúbal area.

TST was created in 1995 after the privatization of the state bus operator Rodoviária Nacional , which operated most of the bus transport in the greater Lisbon area. December 1998 TST lost its independence, since then TST has been part of the Portuguese transport company Barraqueiro . In 2001 the operation of the company Belos-Transportes in the Setúbal area was incorporated into the TST. TST has been part of the Arriva transport group since September 2003 .

Today Transportes Sul do Tejo operates numerous bus routes on the south side of the Tagus in the districts of Alcochete , Almada, Barreiro , Moita , Montijo , Palmela , Seixal, Sesimbra and Setúbal on an area of ​​more than 1,600 square kilometers with more than a million inhabitants. TST classifies its bus services into urbanas ("urban"), suburbanas ("suburban") and rápidas ("express"). TST transports around 83 million passengers annually, with an annual turnover of 51 million euros. TST employs 1225 people, including 800 bus drivers, and owns 618 diesel buses. In some cases, Transportes Sul do Tejo received government grants, together with other bus companies in 2007, 4.935 million euros.
