Gossip (Ukrainian and Russian Трач ; Polish Tracz ) is a village in western Ukraine about 30 kilometers north of the Rajon capital Kosiv .
Together with the villages of Huzuliwka ( Гуцулівка ), Korosty ( Корости ), Krywobrody ( Кривоброди ), and Zuzulyn ( Цуцулин ) it forms the district council of the same name.
The place was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1781, until 1900 it was administratively connected to Debeslawizi and has since been an independent municipality. Until 1918 the place was in the Austrian crown land of Galicia , then as Tracz from 1918 to 1939 in the Second Polish Republic and since 1945 as part of the Soviet Union within the Ukrainian SSR and since 1991 the Ukraine.
