Trecasali ( Emilian : Tricasè ) is a fraction of the Italian municipality ( comune ) Sissa Trecasali in the province of Parma , Emilia-Romagna region .

The place is about 16.5 kilometers north-northwest of Parma on the left bank of the Taro at an altitude of 33 m slm
history
Trecasali was an independent municipality until 2013. On January 1, 2014, Trecasali merged with the municipality of Sissa to form the new municipality of Sissa Trecasali. Trecasali had 3741 inhabitants on December 31, 2013 on an area of 29.08 km². The municipalities included Campedello, Canonica Vecchia, Case Bocelli, Case Obbi, Favaletto, Fontanone, Ronco Campo Canneto, San Quirico and Viarolo. Neighboring communities were Fontanellato , Parma , San Secondo Parmense , Sissa and Torrile .
