Career

Meacham first went to study at the University of Dayton in the city of the same name in Ohio , where he played for the university team Flyers in the Atlantic 10 Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association . After a season he left the college and returned to his hometown, where he continued his studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign . According to the rules of the NCAA, a year was not eligible to play in championship games before he was able to continue his college career as a basketball player with the Fighting Illinois . 2007 and 2009 reached the national final of the NCAA , in which one was eliminated in the first round. In 2009 they were also finalists in the championship tournament of the Big Ten Conference .

After finishing his studies in 2009, Meacham started a professional career in the Austrian basketball league with the reigning champions WBC Raiffeisen from Wels . As the defending champion you reach the play-offs for the championship in fourth place , in which you had to admit defeat to the Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions in the first round after five games . For the following season, Meacham moved to the reigning EuroChallenge winner BG 74 Göttingen , where his former teammate Chester Frazier had also played. At the first participation in the higher quality European club competition Eurocup 2010/11 , the team did respectable and reached the knockout games in the quarterfinals. As seventh in the main round of the basketball Bundesliga 2010/11 , they also failed in the first play-off round against former runner-up Deutsche Bank Skyliners .

For the 2011/12 season Meacham moved to the top division of France to Paris-Levallois Basket. With this club he returned to the play-offs of the French championship, where they were eliminated from Meacham's point of view in the quarter-finals. For the following season he moved within the LNB Pro A to JSF from Nanterre . With the Parisian suburbs, Meacham surprisingly won the French championship in 2013 and the French cup competition the following year, where he was voted the most valuable player in the cup final.
