The Trichocoleales are an order of leafy liverworts .
features
The moss plants have flank leaves that are asymmetrically divided, (two) three to four times, thread-like lobes. Sub-leaves are present and are similar to the flank leaves.
Systematics
The Trichocoleales include according to Frey et al. two families:
- Family Blepharostomataceae , 1 genus with 3 species, occurrence in the northern hemisphere
- Family Trichocoleaceae , 4 genera with about 35 species
