Trine-Lise Væring (born July 2, 1965 ) is a Danish jazz singer and songwriter .

Væring, who follows the tradition of singer-songwriters such as Janis Ian , Stina Nordenstam , Rickie Lee Jones , Sheryl Crow and Alanis Morissette , made her debut as a jazz singer in 1993 on her husband Fredrik Lundin's album People, Places, Times and Faces , which was written for was nominated for a Grammy .

She worked with Lundin and other band leaders and leads her own jazz quartet. She received scholarships from the Statens Kunstfonds (1997 and 2000) and was nominated for the Danish Music Award in 2000. Concert tours have taken her to Germany, Holland, Belgium, Australia and Hong Kong. She made several recordings for Danish and Swedish radio programs.
