Triple Crown (Poker)

A triple crown is the achievement of a poker player who has won at least one bracelet at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and a main event on the World Poker Tour (WPT) and European Poker Tour (EPT) (or PokerStars Championship (PSC)) to have. So far this has been achieved by 9 players.

history

The American Gavin Griffin was the first player to complete the Triple Crown in 2008 with his victory at the WPT Main Event in Atlantic City , after winning a bracelet at the WSOP in Las Vegas in 2004 and the EPT Main Event in Monte-Carlo in 2007 had won. The British Jake Cody completed the Triple Crown at the WSOP in early June 2011 at the age of 22, making him the youngest player to date . In 2017, the PokerStars Championship was played instead of the EPT, the titles of which are equivalent to EPT titles. In the WSOP 2017 completed with Mohsin Charania and Harrison Gimbel two players the Triple Crown .
