Tristan Ruhlmann
Tristan Ruhlmann (* 1923 in Levallois-Perret , † 1982 in Brive-la-Gaillarde ) was a French glass painter and mosaicist who worked in Haguenau in Alsace and Saarland .
Life
Tristan Ruhlmann's parents came from Mulhouse . After Tristan Ruhlmann became managing director of the glass painting Bohl in Haguenau in 1946, he went into business for himself and had his workshop in Rue de la Redoute No. 3 in Haguenau until 1964.
From 1964 to 1974 Ruhlmann had his workshop in Schweighouse-sur-Moder and again from 1972 to 1974 in Haguenau. Then he moved to Saarland, where he worked until 1979. He had to stop working for health reasons.
His son Thierry Tristan Ruhlmann (* 1950) also became a glass painter.
