The Tingeltangelgräfin or Trottie dances into happiness is a British musical comedy from 1949 by director Brian Desmond Hurst , starring Jean Kent and James Donald .
action
The action is set in the 1890s. Trottie True is a singer in a music hall in London. She lost her heart to poor Sid Skinner, but would rather get married rich. The men who love Trottie include the rich and serious aristocrat Lord Digby Landon. Trottie decides in favor of the aristocrat, and in retrospect wonders whether Sid might not have been the better choice.
