Tschunkiw ( Ukrainian Чуньків ; Russian Чуньков Tschunkow , Romanian Cincău , German (until 1918) Czinkeu ) is a village in the north of the Ukrainian Oblast Chernivtsi with about 1400 inhabitants (2001).
The village in Bukovina is the only place in the district council of the same name . Chunkiv is located in the north of the Rajon Sastavna at 235 m altitude 2 km west of the bank of the Dniester on the territorial road T-26-30 .
The distance to the southern district center of Sastavna is 10 km, the Oblast center of Chernivtsi is 40 km south of the village.

The Ukrainian writer, translator, pedagogue, folklorist and ethnographer Yevhenija Jaroschynska (1868–1904) was born on October 18, 1868 in Chunkiv.
