Tsegaye Mekonnen (born June 15, 1995 ) is an Ethiopian marathon runner .
Career
At the Athletics Junior World Championships 2012 in Barcelona, he was fifth over 5000 meters . In 2013 he finished third in the Porto Half Marathon .
In 2014 he won the Dubai Marathon with the world's best junior time of 2:04:32 hours. It was the third fastest marathon debut on a record-breaking track to date.
In April 2017 he was able to win the Hamburg Marathon .
