history

Early years

On December 22nd, 1913 TuS Hartenholm was founded by the school authority candidate Karl Rohde and some citizens of the community. The main sports were gymnastics, punching and fistball. During the First and Second World Wars , sports activities at TuS were discontinued. Between the wars , there were sporadic activities in athletics, gymnastics, fist, punch and sling ball. In 1946, the TuS was officially resumed. In 1947 the soccer division was the first to be officially resumed by TuS.

1950s to 1970s

In the 1949/50 season the TuS took part in the official game operation in the 1st district class Segeberg for the first time. In the end you landed in 9th place. During the 50s, people often commuted between 1st district class (later Segeberg district league) and (2nd) district class.

1959/60 succeeded the TuS as runner-up in the district class A Segeberg, the promotion to the district league Segeberg-Stormarn. This was the first time in the club's history that they played beyond the district boundaries. In 1960/61 the final in the district president's cup could be won, but it was lost 6-0 to SV Wahlstedt. In the third year in the district league, however, was relegated. A few more relegations were to follow until you found yourself in the last league (district class C) in 1966/67. In this season the sports field on Timm-Schott-Weg was completed and the promotion to the district class B could be celebrated.

In 1970/71 he was promoted to the district class A Segeberg and also the final in the district president's cup could be reached, which however was lost with 1: 2 against the Leezener SC. Due to an extensive league reform in the 1973/74 season, the promotion to the eight-class Segeberg district league succeeded.

1980s and 1990s

1979/80 by reaching the 2nd place in the district league Segeberg behind SG Seth and a victory in the relegation game over SSC Hagen Ahrensburg (2-0) the promotion to the district class south, relay middle was made. A year later, the second team was launched. 1981/82 the TuS landed in second place in the table and would have qualified for the promotion round to the District League South. However, the Hartenholmers were deducted 6 points by inserting a player who was not eligible to play, which meant they were only fifth. In addition, the District Administrator's Cup was won for the first time by a 3-2 win over TSV Nahe . Two years later, the cup win could be celebrated again with a 3-1 win over TuS Garbek, before relegation to the Segeberg regional league followed in the 1986/87 season. For the 75th anniversary in 1988, Hamburger SV came to a friendly game in Hartenholm, where TuS lost to Hartenholm with 2:17.

In the 90s the TuS played a rather subordinate role between the district league and district class A and the successes of the 80s could no longer be continued. The Hartenholmer Hall was completed in 1993 and since then the large Hartenholmer Indoor Tournament has been held regularly, which together with Leezen and Wahlstedt is one of the absolute regional highlights in the winter months. After a league reform was introduced again at the end of the 90s, TuS slipped into the 10th class district class B.

2000s

In 2000/01, the final in the district president's cup was lost 4-0 to SV Schackendorf , before it was won two years later by a 6-4 success on penalties over TuS Tensfeld. 2006/07 succeeded with a strongly rejuvenated team the sovereign ascent from the district class B and at the same time the district president cup victory (4: 1 over TuS Tensfeld). In addition, it was possible to win the own indoor tournament for the first time. Only a year later, the march through in the district class A and the district league promotion could already be celebrated at the beginning of March. During this season, VfB Lübeck played as a regional league team in the district cup in Hartenholm, which the favorite clearly won 13-0. In 2008/09, the Hartenholmer were runner-up behind SC Kisdorf in the seventh-class Segeberg regional league and missed promotion by just one point.

2010s

In 2009/10 the TuS was unrivaled champions in the Segeberg district league and rose to the Southwest Association League. In addition, the Hartenholmer earned the nickname "Hall Kings" this season, as all three major tournaments (Hartenholm, Wahlstedt, Leezen) could be won. In addition, there was the very narrow defeat in the final of the indoor championships (1: 2) against Schleswig-Holstein league club SV Henstedt-Ulzburg . In the first year of the association league, the Hartenholmer won third place, only to surprisingly celebrate the championship title just one year later. Among other things, FC Itzehoe and PSV Union Neumünster were left behind. In 2012/13 they landed in 15th place in the Schleswig-Holstein League in their first season. This final placement was enough for relegation , as the reserve from VfB Lübeck (actually 12th place) automatically took a relegation place to make room for the first team, which was relegated from the regional league, and the champions SV Eichede also rose through victories in the relegation to the regional league is. The second men could also celebrate promotion to the county league. In addition, the indoor circuit championship was won for the first time.

In the summer of 2013, FC St. Pauli came to Hartenholm for the centenary. The professionals won the game 9-0. The 2013/14 season was anything but optimal for TuS. But with a courageous second half of the season , the relegation could be celebrated with reaching 13th place in the table . The third SH-Liga season went well in the first half of the season for TuS and it was possible to qualify for the SHFV-Hallenmasters in Kiel for the first time . After a sensational team performance, the top-class tournament was even won and ensured the greatest success in the club's history. In the semifinals, the professionals from Holstein Kiel and in the final from VfB Lübeck were both beaten 2-1.

In 2017, the Hartenholmer qualified for the newly created Landesliga Holstein , where they failed at the end of the 2017/18 season as runner-up in the relegation for the major league at TSV Bordesholm (runner-up Schleswig).
