Since the 2014/2015 season, the first men's soccer team has been back in the association league.

history

The association was founded in 1947. In addition to football, the SSC also offers athletics , swimming , slowpitch , dancing , tennis , table tennis , gymnastics and volleyball .

Men's soccer

The men's team of SSC Hagen Ahrensburg played for decades at district level. In 2001 the league team of the Ahrensburger TSV moved to SSC Hagen after finishing 8th in the district league. As a result, the city rival had no league team available for two years, which sparked criticism against the SSC within the city. In 2005 he was promoted to the District League South. After the district leagues were dissolved three years later, the Ahrensburger found themselves in the Stormarn district league . In 2010 the SSC won the district championship and was promoted to the Association League South-East . After a fourth place in the promotion season, the Ahrensburg team became runner-up behind FC Dornbreite in 2012 . In the following round of promotion to the Schleswig-Holstein League, the team secured second place with a 2-1 victory over TSV Schilksee , which entitled them to promotion.

In the promotion season 2012/13 , the team reached 13th place. Before the start of the 2013/14 season , the team was deducted three points because the club did not meet the required referee for the second time in a row . The club rose at the end of the season as third from bottom. The team would have missed relegation even without the deducted points.

Women's soccer

After the club was involved in a game community for many years, SSC Hagen provided its own team from 2008, which started in the district league. Two ascents in a row brought the Ahrensburg women into the fourth-class Schleswig-Holstein league, where the team was runner-up behind FC Riepsdorf in the 2010/11 promotion season . In 2012, the Ahrensburg team won the Schleswig-Holstein Cup with a 1-0 final victory over FC Riepsdorf. This qualified the team for the 2012/13 DFB Cup , where they lost 5-1 at home to second division Holstein Kiel .

In 2014 the SSC women were runner-up again, this time behind SG Ratekau-Strand 08 . Since Ratekau-Strand, as a syndicate, was not allowed to take part in the promotion round to Regionalliga Nord , the Ahrensburg women were given the chance to move up. The club waived, however, so that the third TuRa Meldorf took part in the promotion round.

Table tennis

The first men's team played almost exclusively on the lower district level until the 2009/10 season. Then succeeded in the season of promotion to the 1st District League South of District IV in Schleswig-Holstein. In the 2011/12 season they rose to the TTVSH's South Regional League. After only two more seasons, they rose to the Schleswig-Holstein Association League in the 2013/14 season. As a newcomer to this season, they made a renewed promotion to the Nordverband Oberliga, in which they started in the 2015/16 season. With a surprising third place they rose again. In the 2016/17 season, they started in the Oberliga Nord / Ost. In six years she has made five climbs. The streak of success ended here, however, and they went straight back to the Nordverband Oberliga. After a season in this league, the champions celebrated their return to the league for the 2018/19 season.
