Tuapa is one of the fourteen places on Niue Island . The island has been linked to New Zealand by an association agreement since 1974 . In the 2017 census, Tuapa had 112 inhabitants.
geography
The place is located in the northwest of the island of Niue and covers an area of almost 13 km². In the west the place has a sea access. In the north Tuapa borders Namukulu , in the northeast on Hikutavake , on the east by Mutalau and south to Makefu .

In Tuapa a monument that commemorates the men of the place, which is in the First and Second World War and the Vietnam War for New Zealand fighting.
