Twenty20 Big Bash 2005/06
The 2005/06 Twenty20 Big Bash was the first season of this Australian Twenty20 Championship. The traditional first-class teams representing the Australian states took part in the tournament. The winners were the Victoria Bushrangers , who beat the New South Wales Blues in the final in the North Sydney Oval with 93 runs .

The six teams played in two groups against each other team once. The two finalists qualified for the final.
