Big Bash League 2016/17

The Big Bash League 2016/17 was the sixth season of the Australian Twenty20 - Cricket championship. The tournament took place from December 20, 2016 to January 28, 2017 and in the final the Perth Scorchers were able to prevail against the Sydney Sixers with 9 wickets.

The eight franchises play in a group against each other team once, and against another team once more. The first four of this group qualify for the playoffs, in which the winner is determined in the semifinals and finals.
