The Sydney Showground Stadium (formerly Spotless Stadium and Škoda Stadium ) is a sports stadium in the Sydney Olympic Park in Sydney , Australia . It has a capacity of 24,000 seats, which is reduced to 22,000 for cricket games . It was also used for the 2000 Olympic Games , which hosted events for baseball and the equestrian and running competitions of modern pentathlon.
