The Sydney International Archery Park is an archery facility in the Olympic Park of the Australian city of Sydney .
history
The Sydney International Archery Park was built for the 2000 Summer Olympics . The complex is 6.5 hectares and adjacent to the wetlands of Home bus . During the games the sports facility has a capacity of 4500 seats. The lawn was divided into two fields, the competition field with a total of eight targets and a training field with 22 targets, which was continuously protected from the sun. The complex was built for three million Australian dollars and opened in July 1998. Part of the system were two groups of stakes consisting of 185 old electricity pylons, which were supposed to symbolize forests.
Various archery courses are now offered on the facility.
