The Hwarang Archery Field ( 화랑 양궁장 Hwarang Yanggungjang ) is an archery range in the northeast of the South Korean capital Seoul .
history
From November 1985 to January 30, 1986, the Hwarang Archery Field was built on the site of the Military Academy on the occasion of the 1988 Summer Olympics . The facility consisted of eight shooting ranges for men and seven for women. During the games, the military academy buildings and tents were used by judges and athletes. In addition, temporary tubular steel grandstands, which offered space for 1200 spectators, were built.
