The State Hockey Center is a sports stadium in Sydney used for various disciplines . It is currently used for hockey and the 2000 Summer Olympics were held there. The stadium was built in 1998 and has a capacity of 8,000 seats. During the Olympic Games it was increased to 15,000 with temporary standing room.
