Big Bash League 2015/16

The 2015/16 Big Bash League was the fifth season of this Australian Twenty20 Championship. The winners were the Sydney Thunder , who beat the Melbourne Stars with 3 wickets in the final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground .

format

The eight franchises play in a group against each other team once, and against another team once more. The first four of this group qualify for the playoffs, in which the winner is determined in the semifinals and finals.
