Two Sides of If is a music album by Northern Irish rock musician Vivian Campbell that was released in 2005. It contains twelve blues rock tracks; as a guest musician guitarist act Billy Gibbons ( ZZ Top ) and the singer Joan Osborne with.

background

Vivian Campbell is the guitarist of the British hard rock band Def Leppard , who released their album X in 2002 and then presented it on a tour. The group's plans were to record a cover album ( Yeah! ) For the time after , but it wasn't released until 2006. Campbell used the time to record a solo album with blues titles. This idea came from a suggestion made by his wife. With the exception of the song Spoonful , Campbell sang all of the songs himself.

The album was recorded in just three days from April 11-13, 2005 at Ocean Studios in Burbank; the vocal tracks of Joan Osbourne, who sang Spoonful , were recorded at Coyote Studios in Brooklyn . Participating musicians were Michael Fell (harmonica), Bruce Cornett (rhythm guitar), Tor Hyams (piano, Hammond organ), Mark Brown (bass) and Terry Bozzio (drums); Billy Gibbons played guitar as a guest musician on Like it This Way and Willin 'for Satisfaction, which he wrote .
