UN Ro-Ro İşletmeleri A.Ş. is a Turkish shipping company based in Istanbul .
history
The company was founded in 1994 as UND Ro-Ro for Ro-Ro traffic between Turkey and Europe. The first destination was the Italian port of Trieste . The first RoLa train to Salzburg started from there in 1998 .
With the UND Akdeniz , the Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft delivered the first RoRo ship of the RoRo 2700 type to the shipping company in 2000 , which was renamed UN Ro-Ro in 2004.
In mid-2018, the Danish shipping company DFDS completed the takeover of UN Ro-Ro.
Route network
Regular trips to Trieste are offered from the Turkish ports of Pendik , Ambarlı Limanı and Mersin . Two days a week, the Pendik↔Triest route also calls at the ports of Bari and Patras . There are also three weekly departures from Pendik to Toulon and back.
In addition to the RoLa connection to Salzburg, the destinations Wels , Bettembourg , Duisburg , Ludwigshafen am Rhein , Munich and Lübeck are also served from Trieste . Trains to Paris and Dourges leave from Toulon .
