The USV Halle Saalebiber team is a floorball team from Halle (Saale) in Saxony-Anhalt . In the 2019/20 season, the first men's team will play in the 2nd Floorball Bundesliga and the second men's team in the Association League East. A U17, U15, U13 and U11 team also take part in the game. A women's team also takes part in the regional league east (small field).

history

In 1995 a floorball section was founded in the USV Halle sports club . In the 1998/99 season they won the German championship. After a few years in the Floorball Bundesliga , they only reached ninth and last place in the 2004/05 season . Since then, the Saalebiber have been playing in the 2nd floorball league , which they won in 2006/07 . Nevertheless, for financial and personal reasons, the promotion was not made. In the seasons 2005/06 and 2006/07At the same time, some of the players from Halle played in the Halle / Hohenmölsen syndicate and reached 3rd and 7th place. In the 2014/15 season, the team won the south / east season of the 2nd floorball Bundesliga and another followed in 2015/16 Season in the Floorball Bundesliga , after which, however, a direct relegation took place.
