Mariano Uceda
Mariano Uceda Valdelvira (born January 30, 1922 in Beas de Segura , Jaén province ) is a former Spanish football player on the position of a striker .
career
Uceda began his career in 1941 at Atlético Aviación and then played for Real Saragossa (1944-1947), Sevilla FC (1947-1949) and Real Sociedad Deportiva Santander (1949-1951). With the Sevillistas , Uceda won the Spanish cup competition in 1948 and was instrumental in this success with his three goals for the 4-1 final victory over Celta Vigo . In 1950 he won the North Zone of the Segunda División with Santander , which made it possible to move up to the Primera División .
The two following seasons 1951/52 and 1952/53 he spent in Mexico at Puebla FC , with which he won the Mexican Cup in 1953 . After this success, he went back to his homeland, where he played in the 1953/54 season with first division promoted CA Osasuna , with whom he was relegated at the end of the season and thus his last season as a professional player (1954/55) again in the Segunda División spent.
