Ueli Amstad
Ueli Amstad (born February 19, 1959 , citizen of Beckenried ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ).
The trained electrician and former chief fitter for network construction at the municipal works in Lucerne came to the district administrator of the canton of Nidwalden for SVP Stans in 2002 , where he was a member of the finance commission and president of the SVP district administrator group. From 2003 to 2008 he was a member of the SVP Nidwalden executive committee. In 2008 he was elected to the government council in the second ballot and took over a seat of the Christian Democratic People's Party .
Ueli Amstad lives in Stans, is married and has three children. In the military he was a first lieutenant of the mountain grenadiers in the mountain rifle battalion 12 and in the division staff of division 6.
