Uhrynkiwzi ( Ukrainian Угриньківці ; Russian Угриньковцы Ugrinkowzy , Polish Uhryńkowce ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Ternopil Oblast with about 600 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1442, had 1855 inhabitants in 1900, including 1237 Greek Catholics, 356 Roman Catholics, 99 Jewish and 95 Germans. In the following years the population sank to 1770 (1910), 1521 (1921) and 1600 inhabitants in 1931. In the village there is the listed Maria-Himmelfahrt-Kirche from 1769.
Uhrynkiwzi is the administrative center of the 4.88 km² district council of the same name in Salishchyky Rajon , which also includes the villages of Berestok ( Бересток , ⊙ ) with about 220 inhabitants and Chartoniwzi ( Хартонівці , ⊙ ) with about 240 inhabitants.
The village is located on the banks of the Tupa ( Тупа ), a 44 km long tributary of the Seret , 15 km north of the Salishchyky district center and about 110 km south of the Ternopil oblast center .
The M 19 / E 85 trunk road runs west of the village .
