Stefan Koos

Stefan Koos (* 1966 ) is a German legal scholar .

Life

He studied law in Würzburg (first state examination in law ) and Salamanca . After his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Bamberg with an elective position at the German-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lisbon , he passed the second state examination in law in Munich . From 1994 to 1995 he was a judge at the Stadtroda District Court - criminal matters / juvenile criminal matters, agricultural, care and civil matters. From 1995 to 1997 he was a research assistant at the chair for civil law, commercial law, business law, tax law, international private law and comparative law at the University of Konstanz ( Carsten Thomas Ebenroth ). After receiving his doctorate in 1996 from the law faculty in Konstanz , he was a research assistant at the chair for civil law, economic law and international economic relations law at the University of Konstanz ( Karl-Heinz Fezer ) from August 1997 to October 2004 .

After his habilitation in November 2002 and the award of the Venia legendi for civil law, company law, competition and antitrust law as well as international private law by the law, administrative and economic science section of the University of Konstanz, he taught there from the summer semester 2003 to the winter semester 2003/2004 as a private lecturer . In the summer semester of 2004 he represented the chair for civil and commercial law at the University of Erfurt . In the autumn of 2004 he was professor for civil, commercial and business law at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich ( Hanns Ullrich ). In November 2004 he was appointed university professor at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich. From 2010 to 2012 he was dean of the Faculty of Economics and Organizational Sciences. In 2005 and 2007 he lectured on fiduciary law at the University of Liechtenstein . Since 2011 he has been a permanent visiting professor at the Law Faculty of the Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) in Pekanbaru . Since 2016 he has been visiting professor at the Business Law Department of the Universitas Bina Nusantara BINUS-University in Jakarta . In 2018 he was visiting professor at the Law Faculty of the Universitas Airlangga in Surabaya .
