The Ujandina ( Russian Уяндина , Yakut Уйаандьы ) is a left tributary of the Indigirka in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in eastern Siberia ( Russia ).

The Ujandina arises at the confluence of the Irgitschjan and Baky rivers . It flows first in a southerly direction through the mountains and later turns to the east. In the lower reaches of the Ujandina there are numerous bends in the river. It reaches the lowlands in Abyjski ulus and after 586 km flows into the Indigirka on the left. The Ujandina drains an area of 41,000 km². From October to the end of May the Ujandina is usually covered with ice. The river floods between June and early September .

The catchment area of 177,000 km² specified in the last, 3rd edition of the Great Soviet Encyclopedia as well as in the water register of the Russian Federation - both based on a monograph on the hydrology of the Soviet Union from the 1960s - is obviously wrong: the Indigirka has only one Catchment area of around 360,000 km², the Ujandina, however, significantly less than half of it (see map).
