Ulf-Dieter Klemm

Ulf-Dieter Klemm (born June 22, 1946 in Höxter ) is a German author , translator and diplomat . a. Ambassador to Morocco (2008–2011).

Life

After the Abitur studied clamp 1964-1970 Law at the Free University of Berlin , the University of Montpellier and the Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg and his put First State Exam from. Between 1975 and 1977 he worked as an assistant at the Institute for Public Law at the Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg and as a research consultant at the local Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law act and put his promotion to the doctorate in law with a dissertation on the subject of the seaward border of the continental shelf. In 1977, Klemm joined the Foreign Service . From 1979 to 1982 he was permanent representative of the consul general in Porto Alegre and from 1986 to 1990 cultural advisor at the embassy in Greece . After various activities in the Foreign Office and at the embassy in Japan, he became ambassador to Mozambique , was in charge of infrastructure, security and administrative reform at the Federal Foreign Office from 2005 and 2008 and ambassador to Morocco from 2008 to 2011 .
