Ulf Björlin (born May 21, 1933 in Stockholm , † October 23, 1993 in Palm Beach , Florida, USA) was a Swedish composer , arranger and conductor .

Björlin studied in Salzburg and Paris. He worked for the Royal Opera in Stockholm . From 1962 he composed music for Swedish radio for films and television productions, including music for the films of Ferien auf Saltkrokan based on stories by Astrid Lindgren . In 1977 he moved to the United States, where he conducted the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra and the Palm Beach Symphony Orchestra. Björlin composed around 100 works and arranged numerous works for orchestra. He died of leukemia in West Palm Beach at the age of 60 and was buried on Norra begravningsplatsen in Solna , Sweden. Ulf Björlin was married and has three daughters and three sons.
