Happy Homecoming (Original title: Skrållan, Ruskprick och Knorrhane ) a Swedish film from 1967, directed by Olle Hellbom . He continues the story from the television series Holidays on Crow Island and the films The Enchanted Prince , The Troll Child and The Pirates .

Since Malin is expecting another child, her eight-year-old brother Pelle, her daughter Skrollan, and their friends Stina and Tjorven will live with aunt Greta for so long. The children are taken to the island where Aunt Greta lives. There they quickly find out that Aunt Greta is no longer there. She is in the hospital because she broke her leg. The friends decide to travel back to Saltkrokan on their own. However, on the way they run out of gas and end up on a deserted island. There are also smugglers who have stored their tobacco there. The children become friends with the smugglers and can finally convince them to give up their criminal career. They return to Saltkrokan together. There they are received by Malin. This presents Skrollan's little brother to the children.
About the film
The film was shot in Valdemarsvik . On December 2, 1967, the film premiered in Swedish cinemas. The film is the fourth and final film in the series about Saltkråkan, which began with the television series Holidays on Crows Island (Vi på Saltkråkan). Uncle Melker can no longer be seen in the film.
It is the only film in which Tage Danielsson appeared as an actor that was not directed by himself or by Hans Alfredson .
While the other scripts of the films and series about Saltkrokan were processed into the books Holidays on Saltkrokan and Jule and the Pirates , this story only exists in film form.

TV Shows
The films Tjorven, Båtsman och Moses ( The Enchanted Prince ) were made for ZDF in Germany ; Tjorven och Skrållan ( The Troll Child ); Tjorven och Mysak ( The Pirates ) and Skrållan, Ruskprick och Knorrhane ( Happy Homecoming ) put together for a 16-part series Holidays on Saltkrokan . This was broadcast in 1971. The films were cut together in episodes of around 20 to 24 minutes in length. The feature film The Cursed Prince ( Tjorven, Båtsman och Moses ) became one of the series episodes The Cursed Prince and Boatswain should die . This was followed by the series episodes Malin's Wedding and The Troll Child , which were compiled from the film The Troll Child ( Tjorven och Skrållan ). The film The Pirates ( Tjorven och Mysak ) became the episodes of The Pirates and The Clock Thief . The last thing that was cut was the film Happy Homecoming into the series episodes Rüpel and Knurrhahn and Happy Homecoming .
In 1979 the films were also shown in Sweden as a 12-part television series Så går det till på Saltkråkan .
